A Fantastic Day at Weymouth Half for WSPH
1180 runners signed on for the Weymouth 2019 Half Marathon and 972 finished. The conditions for the race were far better than could have been expected at the end of a week of gales. The sun came out and the wind calmed down a little.
WSPH were well represented and all runners ran incredibly well.
Mark Humphreys had an outstanding run and came first in his age group with a time of 1:33:48
Will Sawtell took 2nd place in the 20-24 age group with an amazing time of 1:21:54 a new PB,
Nial Turner also took 2nd place in the Under 20’s with a time of 1:38:17, a PB
Karen Perret took 2nd place in her age group with a time of 1:40:07
Phil Haddrell made an impressive run coming in 1:50:56
All in all, a fantastic day and outstanding performances by all WSPH runners. Well Done!
