24 Weymouth St Paul’s Harriers athletes aged between 8 and 15 took part in the first Sports Hall competition of the season at Canford School, Poole. Athletes in school years 4 to 7 took part in a variety of indoor track and field events.

Results:
U13 Boys
Bradley Ellis – 3rd – 2 lap heat 1, 7th – Vertical Jump, and 2nd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.
Luke Strong – 5th – 2 lap heat 2, 9th -Triple Jump and 2nd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.
Rhys Roper – 2nd – 4 lap, heat 1, 7th – Long Jump, and 2nd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.
Mark Rankin – 5th – 4 lap heat 3, 6th – Speed Bounce and 2nd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.

Joshua Frampton – 3rd – 2 lap heat 3, 12th – Vertical Jump and 3rd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.
Ben Vallard – 3rd – 4 lap, heat 2, 10th – Speed Bounce and 3rd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.
Matt West – 5th – 6 lap, heat 2, 8th – Long jump and 3rd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.

Bailey Roper – 4th – 4 lap heat 3, 12th – Speed Bounce and 3rd – Circuit Relay, heat 2.
Jonas Vick – 8th – Shot Putt
Jack Owen – 9th – Shot Putt
Jack & Jonas – 3rd – Paarlauf heat1 and, 3rd – Circuit Relay heat 2.
Liam Spearing – 12th – Vertical Jump and 3rd – Circuit Relay heat 2.
Mark Strudwick – 13th in Vertical jump.
Liam & Mark – 3rd – Paarlauf – heat 2.
U15 Boys
Ben Westhenry took 3rd place in the individual standings after gaining a 1st place in the Triple jump, 2nd place in the 4 laps race and 6th place in the Shot.

U15 Girls
Abi Strong was the sole WSPH competitor and gained a 6th place in the 2 lap, 7th place in the Shot and 8th place in the Vertical Jump, placing 14th overall

U13 Girls

Saxon Roy – 2nd – 2 lap, heat 1, 2nd – vertical jump and joint 3rd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.
Laura Rankin – 2nd – 6 lap heat 2, 6th – vertical jump and joint 3rd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.
Elinor Mason – 2nd – 6 lap heat 3, 6th – Triple Jump and 3rd – 4x 2 lap Relay heat 2.
Ruby Ellis – 1st in the 2 lap, heat 4, 9th – Speed Bounce and 3rd – 4 x 2 lap relay heat 2.
Lauryn Montrose – 3rd in 6 lap heat 3, 6th – Shot Putt and 3rd – 4 x 2 lap relay heat 2.
Savannah Evans – 4th – 6 Lap, heat 3, 7th – Shot Putt and 3rd – 4 x 2 lap relay heat 2.
Eleanor Simpson – 14th – Speed bounce and 3rd – 4 x 2 lap relay heat 2.
Jodie Clarke – 8th in the Long jump and 3rd – Circuit Relay, heat 2.
