Pete Clarke comes home with the Silver!

In the World Double Decathlon championship Pete Clarke has returned from this 2 day, 20 event competion held this year in Delft, Holland with the silver medal in his age group.

Pete was beaten to the gold by the Finn Kyosti Poutlainen who created a new world record of 10210 points.

While Pete beat the Finn in all the distance events of 3000 metres steeplechase, 5000 metres, 3000 metres, 1000 metres and 1500 metres he just could not live with the Finn in the sprints and field events.
