Weymouth Running Club : General
WSPH Weymouth road running : Road Running has been an integral part of Weymouth St Paul’s Harriers since the club was formed. Our members compete in a wide variety of races both at home and abroad.
Interested non-members may come and try us out for a couple of weeks before joining. While we welcome newcomers to the sport, regardless of ability or experience, we do require a basic core fitness in anyone wishing to start running with us.
Weymouth Running Club : Training Sessions
Runs generally last about 50 mins to an hour with varying speeds and distances for fast, medium or slower runners. Different sessions may involve some speed or hill work and in the summer months may include some off-road and trail running.

Competitions
Our members compete in a wide variety of races both at home and abroad. Competition choice is entirely up to the individual. We are affiliated to the Dorset Road Race League which offers a 12 race programme of UK events throughout the year, over distances of 5 miles to full Marathon. Completion of 7 events enables runners to be eligible for age group awards (seperated into 5-year age bands). There is also a team competition.
DRRL also administers the County Championship programme. Tamsyn Rutter of WSPH is currently Dorset Ladies 10 Mile Champion.
For the League programme, entry forms and results, please visit the Dorset Road Race League or the Dorset County Athletics Association.
